The City Park is located on the new Onalaska Loop road that runs from FM 3459 near the High School to Highway 356 North near Magnolia Cemetery Road. The park is being built and expanded as funds allow. A recent addition to the park is the Union Pacific Railroad caboose.
The 9 acres of land for the park was donated by Pete Garland in 2010. Future plans are to eventually move the city offices to this location.
A Park Fund was set up in 2011 and donations are gratefully accepted at the Onalaska City Hall. |
