The Municipal Court judge is appointed by the City Council. Municipal Court has jurisdiction over Class C Misdemeanors committed within the city of Onalaska. These generally include traffic offenses, city code violations, and certain criminal offenses including family violence and juvenile matters.
The Municipal Court Judge is David Johnson.
The mission of the Onalaska Municipal Court is to provide an accessible legal forum for individuals to have their court matters heard in a fair and efficient manner, while providing a high level of integrity and professionalism. |
